Royal Horticultural Society Tour Of Silloth
Silloth-on-Solway has been nominated for three RHS awards, including Britain in Bloom ‘Town Centre’ Award’; also ‘Coastal Town’ and ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood‘ Awards. The Community Garden, which was funded by Heritage Lottery, has been being entered for a ‘Special Category’ Award within the ‘Coastal Town nomination. Community participation in the design and development of the garden has been central to its development. The judges will be touring the town on 15th July, morning and afternoon, and the following information has been produced to help them with their task. The power point presentation takes place at 3.00pm in the Community Hall.
