Silloth Christmas Lights Switch On

A Message from Silloth Christmas Lights Committee. The Christmas lights switch on will be taking place on 28th November from 3pm. Due to the weather the entertainment and Santa will be in the Silloth Cafe. Switch on at 5.30!!

The fair will be there and also Eric Stanwix will be providing the entertainment. We do have room for a few stalls so if anyone would like to attend please contact Mandy Kerr on 07841762801. We are also offering local businesses the opportunity to advertise their business with banners around the entertainment arena. There is a small charge of £10 for this (you will need to provide the banner), alternatively if you would like to make a small donation please contact Alison Henderson at Silloth Café. Santa will be in his grotto as usual in Silloth Café, Santa will be there from 3pm to 5.30pm, the cost of this will be £2 per child and includes a small gift. We really hope to see you on the 28th!!

This year we have decided not to do a Santa Dash; this decision hasn’t been taken lightly and we as a committee feel it would be better to hold the event when the weather is better and make a real day/weekend of it. We are looking at holding it on a weekend in June/July, after we have walked the usual route dressed in Christmas attire we will head to the green where there will be entertainment on for all ages. If anybody has any ideas for this day we would be delighted to hear them.

There will be an AGM for the Silloth Christmas Lights Committee on Tuesday 19th January 2016, 7pm Silloth Café.
